Yogurt and jelly ice cream ... refreshing, delicious, and made with only two ingredients

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 4 cups yogurt
  • 4 packets jelly, any flavor of your choice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar (or less, to taste)
  • Note
  • The amount of jelly can be reduced so the white color of the yogurt stands out in the mold, but the taste will remain the same.
  • Also from Fatima, here is Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. In a bowl place 1 cup water, add the jelly and sugar and stir.
  2. Place the mixture over medium heat and stir until it comes to a boil.
  3. Remove from the heat and let it cool slightly before adding the yogurt.
  4. Mix well then pour the mixture into any mold or Pyrex and freeze for no less than 6 hours or a full day.
    Timers: 360 min
  5. After the time has passed, unmold and garnish with desiccated coconut or any fruit as desired.
