  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups fine semolina
  • 3 tablespoons rose water
  • Ashta
  • 1 liter milk
  • 7 tablespoons cornstarch

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Place the sugar over low heat until it turns into caramel. Add the water and let the sugar dissolve completely.
  2. Then add the semolina and stir well until the semolina absorbs the water and the mixture becomes cohesive, then add the rose water.
  3. Pour the mixture into a serving dish and set it aside.
  4. Place the ingredients over the heat until they boil.
  5. When the mixture thickens, add 1 teaspoon rose water and 1 tablespoon orange blossom water.
  6. Place the ashta over the mafroukeh and garnish with nuts as desired.
