Aleppo Meshabak
When we see any recipe from the Aleppo kitchen, we already know it will be delicious and beautiful in both appearance and taste. This meshabak recipe is no exception, and the photo is proof enough.
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups coarse semolina
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup warm water.
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix all the ingredients well until smooth and combined.
- Let the dough rest for about an hour.
- Then fry the meshabak in oil over medium heat, not too hot and not cold. You can pour the batter in a circular shape to get beautiful designs.
- Remove the meshabak from the oil and place it immediately in the cold syrup.
