Wheat pudding with nuts, dairy-free.. often served when a child’s first teeth appear!! So easy and very nutritious
Ingredients
- 1 kilo peeled wheat
- 3 cups sugar, or to taste
- Nuts such as walnuts and almonds, as desired
- Raisins
- Black seed
- Fine anise
- 2 tablespoons orange blossom water

Method
- Cover the cleaned, washed wheat with water and simmer it over low heat.
- When the wheat kernels open and are fully cooked, add the sugar and let the wheat mixture boil briefly until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the nuts, anise, nigella (black seed), and raisins, plus orange blossom water, then turn off the heat.
- Serve the wheat pudding directly in serving cups, either hot or after it cools.
