Cinnamon is a Western dessert that has become popular and beloved in many Arab countries. Today we’ve prepared it in a new, crispy style with a sweet-and-salty flavor, and we hope you’ll enjoy it.

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- Filling
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Sugar glaze
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons milk
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Sift the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder together.
- Add the milk and the oil, and continue mixing with a wooden spoon.
- It's best not to knead the cinnamon; just mix it with a wooden spoon.
- Roll out the dough
- Spread the sugar-cinnamon filling over it
- Spritz with a little oil spray
- Roll it into a cylinder and cut it into evenly sized discs as desired.
- Place them on a baking sheet greased with a little oil.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until golden
- Drizzle with the sugar glaze
