Chicken escalope... one of the tastiest quick meals loved by both adults and children

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken, boned and skinned
  • Marinade:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • Salt
  • Coating:
  • 1 cup sifted flour mixed with 1/2 teaspoon of each of the spices listed above
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Crushed crackers

Method

  1. Marinate the chicken strips in the milk, vinegar, olive oil, salt and spices. Leave to marinate for 3 hours.
    Timers: 180 min
  2. After the time has passed, mix the sifted flour with the same spices used in the marinade, salt and the baking powder. Coat the chicken strips on both sides with the flour mixture.
  3. Dip the pieces in the beaten eggs, then finally coat them in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat enough oil until hot and fry the chicken escalope over medium heat until golden brown.
