Halabi Pistachio Bars
A simple, delicious sweet treat that kids will love and that many can enjoy as a light dessert or snack between meals.

Ingredients

- 2 cups pistachios
- 2 1/2 cups honey or 2 cups sugar syrup
- Juice of half a lemon
- A pinch of vanilla
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- First, roast the pistachios with the coconut oil for about 5 minutes.Timers: 5 min
- Boil the honey and add a splash of the lemon juice.
- When the honey boils, add the pistachios and let them boil with the honey for about two minutes only.
- Line a tray with parchment paper and pour the mixture into it.
- When the mixture cools down, put it in the refrigerator for about 3 hours.Timers: 180 min
- When you remove the tray from the refrigerator, cut the set mixture into the shape you desire.
- If the pistachios stick to the parchment paper or the tray, they can be removed after holding the tray over steam for a short time.
