Easiest Rice Pudding

Rice pudding... who doesn't love this easy, light and delicious dessert? Rice pudding, or milk pudding, is a dessert suitable for both children and adults. Learn the method now.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 4 cups milk (or 1 liter)
- 1/2 cup Egyptian (short-grain) rice
- 1/2 cup sugar, or to taste
- A splash of orange blossom water and rose water
- A pinch of crushed mastic mixed with a pinch of sugar
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Place the milk in a pot over medium heat until it warms, then add the rice and reduce the heat. Stir occasionally so the milk and rice don't stick to the bottom.
- When the milk thickens and the rice is fully cooked, add the sugar and stir occasionally.
- Once the mixture comes to a boil, stir continuously. After about 15 minutes of boiling and after ensuring the sugar has completely dissolved, add the orange blossom water, rose water, and the crushed mastic. Stir well, then remove the pot from the heat.Timers: 15 min
- Pour the rice pudding into serving glasses.
- Let it cool to room temperature before serving.
- Refrigerate if the weather is warm.
