Chocolate cake with rich sauce... easier and more delicious than ever
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- A pinch of vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup yogurt
- 3/4 cup cocoa, or more as desired
- A pinch of baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Method
- Beat the eggs well, add the vanilla, and continue beating for 2 minutes.Timers: 2 min
- Add the sugar and keep beating, then add the vegetable oil and beat for 2 more minutes.
- Add the flour gradually, alternating with the water, yogurt, baking soda, and baking powder. Add the salt as well and continue beating.
- Finally, add the cocoa. You can increase the amount of cocoa as desired for a stronger chocolate flavor and color.
- Beat well, then pour the mixture into a well-greased ring cake pan with tahini.
- Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through and rises, depending on your oven.Timers: 40 min
- Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate sauce.
- Pour 2 cups of hot cream over 1 cup of chocolate chips or any chocolate you have on hand.
- Add 3 cups of clotted cream or ready-made or homemade qaymar to get a thick, smooth mixture.
- When the cake comes out of the oven, set it aside until it cools, then place it on a serving plate and pour the cream over it. Sprinkle dry cocoa over the cream to get a cake with rich cream.
