Francisco — a dish that has become very popular. A delicious and very easy recipe; give it a try.

Chicken breast, cut into cubes or lengthwise strips

1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup water

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon curry powder

Pinch of ginger

1/4 cup oil

Red onion

100 grams mushrooms

Cheddar cheese

Chopped lettuce

Pickles

Corn

Mayonnaise

French-style bread or other bread of your choice

Cut the chicken and marinate it in the spice mix with the soy sauce, water, and salt for 3 hours.
After marinating, place the chicken in a skillet over medium heat and cook, stirring, until the excess liquid evaporates.
In a second pan over the heat, add the red onion sliced into wedges with the oil and sauté until softened.
Add the mushrooms and sauté briefly, then add the chicken and cook over medium heat until done.
Assemble the sandwich: place a little cheese, chopped lettuce, pickles, and corn along the length of the bread — a sprinkle of each — then arrange the Francisco chicken on top and spread a little mayonnaise.
Roll the sandwich and toast it for 2 minutes on a sandwich press, or in a skillet on the stovetop if you don’t have a press.
