Coconut Namoura

- 1 and 1/2 cups fine semolina
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 2 tablespoons powdered milk
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- a small pinch baking soda
- 1 cup yogurt
- syrup (attar) or shireh
Method
- Mix the dry ingredients: put the semolina, sugar and shredded coconut and powdered milk in a bowl, mix well then add the baking powder and baking powder and the sweet yogurt.
- Spread the Namoura in a tray greased with a little butter, cut it and decorate it with nuts as desired and put it in the preheated oven...
- When the Namoura is browned on the bottom, turn the oven on from the top as well so it gets a nice color on the surface.
- Remove the Namoura from the oven and soak it with syrup (attar) or shireh while it is still hot.
