Cut the shawarma meat into thin slices (about 400 g), place in a bowl and season with salt, black pepper, 1 teaspoon cumin and 1 teaspoon paprika or shawarma spice; add 2 cloves garlic, crushed, 2 tablespoons olive oil and the juice of half a lemon, mix well and let it absorb the marinade 10–15 minutes.
