Ingredients:

1 kg chicken breast, sliced

1/4 teaspoon seven-spice

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Pinch black pepper

Pinch white pepper

Pinch garlic powder

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon white vinegar

Pinch turmeric (yellow)

1 teaspoon paprika or sweet red pepper

2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped

Zest of 1 lemon

Preparation:

Rinse the boneless chicken pieces well and cut into long strips.

Mix the chicken with the spices and marinade ingredients and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

When it's time to cook the chicken shawarma, place the mixture on a baking tray and roast in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
