Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1 cup fine powdered sugar
- 1 cup blanched almonds, very finely ground
- 3 drops almond extract
- rose water
- orange blossom water
- Pistachio filling
- 1 cup pistachios
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- Note
- Be careful not to add too much rose water or orange blossom water to the recipe so the dough does not become too soft. We want the dough to be pliable but not slack.

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix the ground almonds with the powdered sugar.
- Add the almond essence and continue mixing.
- Be careful not to add too much almond essence, or it will give the recipe a bitter taste. Just 3 drops.
- Also add just a few very small drops of orange blossom water and rose water.
- In the end, you will get a dough; cover it quickly so it does not dry out.
- You can shape the dough by hand into the shapes you want, or place it in ready-made molds and shape it as desired.
- You can also fill the marzipan with pistachio paste. Prepare the pistachio dough in the same way as the marzipan dough, using the same ingredients but without adding almond essence.
- Leave the marzipan after shaping it for about 8 to 12 hours until it is completely dry, then wrap it and place it in the fridge (not the freezer)Timers: 720 min
- This recipe can stay in excellent condition for up to a full month, and you can prepare it as a gift for invitations because it is tastier than any ready-made marzipan
