How to make Cheese Halva (Shal)

Curd cream (qarisha)

4 cups powdered milk8 cups wateror1 1/2 liters liquid milk1 cup yogurt1 can qeemar (clotted cream)

How to prepare the cream

We boil the water and powdered milk... When the milk starts boiling we add a small cup of white vinegar with a cup of laban rob (strained yogurt) or yogurt...(The yogurt will increase the amount of qarisha... When the qarisha begins to appear we separate it and place it in a strainer and add a can of qeemar cream.)

When the sugar completely dissolves and bubbles appear, add the orange blossom water. Then add the sweetened Akkawi cheese and stir well until the cheese forms a single mass. Gradually add 1 cup of fine semolina while stirring continuously so the semolina absorbs the water and blends completely with the cheese. Stir well for about a quarter of an hour on low heat, continuing to move the dough and lift it up
