Kofta with tahini is one of the tastiest ways to prepare kofta... Tahini is truly delicious when added to eggplant and cauliflower... and with meat too!!!

Ingredients:

1 kilo finely ground lamb (with fat)

1 bunch parsley

1 onion

1 teaspoon tomato paste

Black pepper

Mixed spice

Salt

Ghee or oil

Fried potatoes

Tahini sauce:

Tahini

Water

Lemon juice

Salt

Preparation:

Grind the parsley and onion in an electric grinder, then add them to the finely ground meat. Add the salt, spices, and tomato paste, and knead well until you have a smooth, well combined kofta mixture.
Shape the kofta mixture into medium round patties and fry them in a little ghee or oil until they just change color.
Add fried potato slices on top in the baking dish.
Prepare the tahini sauce... Whisk the ingredients together and add plenty of water to get a very thin sauce.
Pour the sauce over the kofta and potatoes in the dish until just covered... then place the dish on the stove and let the broth come to a boil over high heat.
Once the broth boils, transfer it directly to the oven and bake over medium heat until the sauce thickens slightly.
Garnish the kofta with tahini with chopped parsley and serve immediately with fluffy rice.
