Lentil soup with lemon... an easy and quick soup to prepare, and most importantly, the result is delicious.

Ingredients:

4 Swiss chard leaves with their tender stalks1/4 cup red lentils1 potato, peeled and cut into small cubes1 dry onion, finely chopped3 cloves garlic, minced1 tablespoon flour2 tablespoons oilJuice of 2 lemons, or 8 tablespoonsPinch of cinnamonPinch of saltPinch of cuminPinch of white pepper

Instructions:

In a pot, heat the oil and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened.
Chop the Swiss chard leaves and stalks into small pieces after washing them well, then add them.
Add the small potato cubes and stir.
After a few minutes, add the washed and drained lentils and cover the pot's contents with water.
When the lentils are cooked, add the flour and stir well. The flour helps to slightly thicken the soup.
Add the lemon juice and spices, stir, then let the soup boil for just three more minutes before serving.
