Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
- a pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup powdered (confectioners') sugar
- 1 1/4 sticks butter at room temperature
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- cocoa powder for garnish - optional

Method
- Mix the butter, oil, vanilla and the rest of the ingredients and rub them together.
- Add the flour gradually and bring the dough together until you have a cohesive dough. You may need 3 cups or less of flour depending on the type.
- Form the ghoraybeh dough into balls and shape them, then garnish with cocoa or leave plain as desired.
- Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes — they do not need to brown, only to cook through.Timers: 15 min
